For over 35 years, Ray "The Rockhound" Kopman has been a rockhound, lapidary artist and jewelry designer. He resides in Phoenix, Arizona and is a frequent visitor and volunteer at the Arizona Mining and Mineral Museum. Ray has been published many articles on jewelry design in Rock n Gem Magazine, Arizona Highways and The National Spiritualist Summit.

On this website you will find examples of Ray's hand-crafted jewelry designs utilizing quartz, opals, gemopals, laborites, chrysophase, agates, azuites, obsidian, tribulite, turquoise, jade, silver and gold. In addition, Ray has jewelry designs made from china plates. Ray also sells flour sack art designs made by his father William Kopman.
